Kairos Constructive Counseling
Livia Schomber
Breathing Coach, Yoga Instructor
I’m a certified yoga instructor with nearly 14 years of experience teaching private and group classes in this community. My approach is grounded in science and focuses on integrating mindful movement and breathwork to support mental and emotional well-being.
I specialize in helping individuals manage stress, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation through accessible, trauma-informed practices. My classes are designed to complement counseling and psychotherapy, with an emphasis on body awareness, breath control, and practical tools for emotional regulation. At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to help people feel safe in their bodies—even when life does the stretching for them.
I blend structure with warmth and just the right amount of levity, creating a welcoming space where clients can explore movement and breath without pressure or pretense. Drawing from power, vinyasa flow, gentle, restorative, and relaxation techniques, I also incorporate functional breathing methods—like nasal breathing, paced breathing, and CO₂ tolerance training—to reduce stress, support sleep, and enhance emotional regulation.
My client-centered, down-to-earth style makes my sessions approachable for all levels, including those who are brand new to yoga or navigating mental health challenges. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a light-hearted touch to every class—reminding people that healing doesn’t have to be heavy to be effective.
