Kairos Constructive Counseling
Krystle Schmitz
MA, LPC - Psychotherapist
Life can feel overwhelming at times, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work alongside children, teens, adults, couples, and families as they sort through challenges, build insight, and find steadier footing. My work is centered on helping people feel understood, regain a sense of calm, and move toward greater confidence and clarity in their lives.
I take an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused strategies, and EMDR. While EMDR is often associated with trauma, I also use it to help with anxiety, stress, and deeply rooted beliefs that can keep people feeling stuck. Each session is tailored to your goals and strengths, with an emphasis on creating a space that feels safe, grounded, and genuinely supportive. Together, we focus on practical, real-life tools that support healing, strengthen relationships, and build emotional resilience.
With nearly 15 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Lakeland University, my hope is to help you move forward with greater self-understanding, renewed hope, and a stronger sense of direction.
