Yoga Nidra for Chronic Pain - In Person
A 3-Class Series
October 8, October 22 & November 5, 2026
Living with chronic pain can change the way we relate to our bodies, our attention, and even rest itself. This three-part Yoga Nidra series offers a space to explore that relationship with compassion and without judgment.
Yoga Nidra is a guided practice of conscious relaxation, practiced while resting comfortably, without any physical movement involved. Yoga Nidra can offer complementary ways to explore the experience of pain and the body, while discovering different ways of relaxing and relating to sensations, support, and rest.
Who is this series for? This series is for anyone living with ongoing or recurring pain who is interested in exploring a different relationship with their body and their experience of pain. It may be especially supportive for those who find traditional movement-based practices challenging or who simply want another complementary tool for relaxation, awareness, and rest.
Together, we will explore how we can become more aware of what is present without needing to change it, broaden our awareness to include the parts of the body and experience that aren't defined by pain, and discover greater choice in where we place our attention. We will also explore the possibility of rest without discomfort. This series is an invitation to notice, explore, and rest exactly as you are.
No prior Yoga Nidra or yoga experience is necessary. Come as you are and participate in whatever way feels supportive for you.
Come prepared for comfort: You are welcome to bring your own blanket, heated blanket, pillow, and/or eye covering. Some props will be available and offered, but bringing familiar items from home can make your practice feel even more comfortable and supportive.
One payment of $100 for all 3 sessions
